Just a quick train ride over the Øresund, the southern Swedish city of Malmö is popular with Copenhageners who have flocked there in droves over the past few years to take advantage of the cheaper cost of living. They buy cheap Swedish flats and cars and commute back to Copenhagen to earn the big bucks. And then they get all antsy when none of their friends come to visit them.

All of which is largely irrelevant to this cool little story about the recent expansion of the Malmö-based fashion boutique Très Bien. Renowned for the excellence of their online store, Très Bien have now moved out of their small space and into a much larger location that ‘used to hold a trenchcoat factory and then a flea market’.

This video tells the story. I love the guys’ attention to detail in this, and I love that they are choosing to expand in the midst of this ‘recession’:
