I’m not sure why I haven’t noticed it before but the city really blossoms in May. Long, early evening walks with Gerda in her pram in the waning sun have helped me grow more observant of light, hence the abundance of foliage above. It was a lovely month but now the weather has turned again and already dinner on the balcony and cups of tea outside cafes seem a long time ago.
